I've seen the James Ruse papers, they're pretty good quality. They give a good representation of a typical hsc paper.

MY SCHOOL, BLOODY ****, gives us the HARDEST papers EVER. :mad1:

I've aced two unit, but to tell you the truth, If they give me our school paper again, I'd probably manage 70.

How do independent schools papers compare to other papers?
I found them to be alright.

i think independent schools have varying degrees of difficulty. E.g. Sydney Girls has really easy papers while Sydney Boys has horrible papers.

In general, they are easier than the catholic papers though. The catholic ones are very unrealistic in terms of hsc standard.

I think catholic papers are the best. Neap papers suck (but are good tests). Heinemman is good. Independant don't click with me. I hate their set up.

So Independant are similar to the HSC Standard, kinda.

most teachers say to avoid the catholic papers because they're unrealistic. Personally, i think i like the Ruse and Grammar papers.

personally, i think that in general independent papers at boys schools, coed schools are hsc standard. Those at girls schools TEND to be easier.

I've always liked the Ruse/Grammar papers, even though I can never do well in them  Catholic papers, I'll reserve my judgement on them for the time being, haven't seen enough Neap or Independant papers to say much about them.

ours was really hard this year - as in the 4u.
i screwed up big time ! only got 61 / 120 : the harder 3u was an absolute KILLER.
i could barely do any of them , and walked out of the exam , sure that I had lost at least 30 marks.
surprisingly , all my other marks were lost due to stupid mistakes -_-"
damn it .. i could`ve gotten like .. 80+ / 120 :(
