Nah , i think you probably missed their point.
Tbh , Jesus didnt spend all that much time wearing Armani suits and talking about all of us reaching our financial destinies by giving our money away to church funds.
Whoever that Christian was , I bet they were saying that Jesus' teachings are not really represented by many mainstream Christian churches.
I share this view to a fair degree.
Jesus didnt behave in a 'religious' way - and massively bagged out the religious leaders of His day for their arrogance , dishonesty, lack of care for the less fortunate, and ego.
You can read in the bible that he called them : snakes , whitewashed tombstones, hypocrites + more.
