no - i have watched just about all of the matches that have been shown (on both paytv and free to air) so i havent just been watching Hewitt. Before the tournament - my tip to win was Federer, though i was always hoping that he would lose because i am sick of him winning everything.

Personally, although i would like Hewitt to win, i wouldnt be dissapointed if Safin won - he would finally be fulfilling some of the potential he has shown. Behind Federer, he is the second most naturally talented athletes - yet he hasnt achieved nearly as much as he could have at this stage.

I don't think I could take it if Hewitt did but this is probably the best chance he has had to win a slam because Federer isn't there and we all know Lleyton is Federer's bitch. Lleyton just does not have the big weapons to challenge some1 like Federer whoses game is so versatile.

I'm thinking three days off for safin will put him out of rhythm - at least for the first set anyway. Expect hewitt to win the first set.....then win the match in 4. I don't think he has the patience to beat him.

I would like to see another 5-setter in the final. Both men are king of 5-setters. This would happen if Safin lead in the first few sets, because Hewitt has the mental strength to pull the match back. On the other hand, if Hewitt moved ahead early, Safin probably hasn't got the guts to level back in front of the Oz crowd.

Hewitt played brilliantly against Roddick and whatever this bad sportsmanship thing is about, you can't say that against him in last night's match. I think Hewitt has a good chance of winning. It was a surprise that Safin beat Federer, and if it was Hewitt vs Federer in the final then i think Hewitt would have lost. He has a better chance beating Safin.
