Im using Dirty Dancing and an Aboriginal Poem called 'Stepping Out'
Yeah that's true, according to a hsc marker i spoke with. Song lyrics (vs. say poetry or epics) use a formulaic structure that do not present opportunities to apply conventional techniques of verse. Also it's much easier applying rhythm and rhyme techniques ie iambic pentameter to more elevated poems.lil-azn-viietz said:so is it recommended that you dont use song lyrics as one of your text?
