yeahdennett?
what only 4 out of the top 5. no wonder he left the school, lol.one of the lecturers at the hta modern history study day said that once he had a modern history class in which he had 5 state rankers. (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 7th)
How do you obtain 99 and 100. Unless that person came 2nd internally, behind someone who got 100 internally.no you wouldnt state rank in MX1 unless you were in the top 3 and ur grade was really good bcuz with MX1 you have to get 100 as both external and internal to have a chance at state rank. i no someone who got 99 internal and 100 external last year in MX1 and didnt get a state rank
Yeah and even if you came 2nd behind someone who got 100 internally both people would still get state ranks wouldnt they??How do you obtain 99 and 100. Unless that person came 2nd internally, behind someone who got 100 internally.
Because if your 1st internally and get 100, you get 100 assessment mark and 100 exam mark - so 100 hsc mark.
well the guy i no came second in his school and hence he got the second best exam mark as his own assessment mark and his actual exam mark he got to keep as his exam mark. so he got 99 internal and 100 external and the person who came first got 100 internal and 99 externalHow do you obtain 99 and 100. Um, usually with other subjects - but with maths the state ranking marks are generally 100.Yeah and even if you came 2nd behind someone who got 100 internally both people would still get state ranks wouldnt they??
you would also get a state rank, only if u did well urself in the external exams as well. just bcuz the guy above u gets state rank doesnt mean you ll get one urself. you can get one, if u do just as well as he does.Yeah and even if you came 2nd behind someone who got 100 internally both people would still get state ranks wouldnt they??
Your school ranking cant screw you, a student can still get a state ranking even if they go to a school ranked last in the state. Also, previous years rankings do not have any bearing whatsoever on the next years HSC class. So I just discovered my school is ranked 230th...
Does this mean that if i'm ranked
4th Ancient History
2nd Studies of Religion 2 unit
Joint 1st Biology
1st IT Vet (Dont ask me why i took it.... i wasnt thinking...)
and probs like 10th in Advanced English.
I'm gonna get severely screwed by my school?
Also do last years rankings have any bearing on this year? As im almost certain our cohort is better than last years...
Thanks, yea I don't care whether or not I get a state rank, I just want at least a 90 Atar...Your school ranking cant screw you, a student can still get a state ranking even if they go to a school ranked last in the state. No.Ah - just another question..
Is there always a 100 given out in HSC exams? E.g. is the mark a ranking? whereby 100 must be given out.
I understand that its not 100 raw mark, and it is moderated. But will the moderated marks always be scales from 100 and then from there. If you get what I mean.
Biology - Around 50Matrob, out of curiousity, how many people are in each of your subjects?
I reakon with your rankings you could probably get 94-95. Im pretty sure you will get at least 90Biology - Around 50
