Hmm, I've practically made maybe 2 friends in my lectures...though it's hard to classify personnel on unsw campus as being friends...Maybe by the time Labs + Tuts start, I'll get to know people more often. Though, in every course, the people there are great...and lol my math lecturer was humourous today...

It's like *someone's mobile phone rings* "No mobile phones should be on in my lectures........ .... .. otherwise, I'm going to have to take it from you... .... and call your mum.... ..... .... .... and tell her that I'm your boyfriend...even if you're a male!!!

And the whole class bursted out laughing...haha

In the Geos lab last week there were a couple of cool Geology dudes on the table that I suppose could be called borderline aquaitances. And in lectures I've spoken to a few, but I really wouldn't bother calling them friends. So I guess the answer is a stupid big ugly zero (0).

I spose I met a bunch of people (just general chitchat) ... usually in lectures (all i've had so far), but havn't made any friends per se, and i'm not looking too. In my entire week theres only one gap in my schedule, which is like 11-12 on a wed morning and i'll be filling that gap with food, not people. I don't really fancy spending time before and after uni socialising when it takes so long to get there and back from home.

Everyones really really nice though... a bit too nice, even with headphones in people still want to talk to me! I have to scowl and look heaps unnapproachable to repel people when i'm after some me time.

Not the sort of me time that doesn't involve pants however, just the usual wanting to sit and think for a bit kind.

Also, when I said everyone is heaps nice I didn't mean the asians (who aren't really people anyway... uh, dont worry i'm joking or something) because the larger majority of them (mainly the real hardcore asians) are absolute snobs! I've met a couple that've been friendly and good to chat to, but usually they just don't want to associate with the white man.

Because we have much more superior sized penii? That's almost certianly the reason, so I forgive them.

Anywho, steve did u have an acct class at 7pm last night? I saw a curly haired fellow talking to this wierd prick who kept asking questions in the lecture and he looked like you.

Aaaman is an idiot - don't take any notice of him.

I made two friends at o-week, but considering their doing different degrees to me, I havn't really spoken to them since them. It's not as easy as some think, I spent the whole day today walking around the campus, thinking about how stupid I looked all alone - I guess it just takes time. I'm also pretty superficial, some people have made conversation with me, but because i've thought that they're not the sort of people I would be friends with, I have not tried to forge any bond with them. I had two girls sit next to me in my COMP1911 lecture today, but because im just downright shy I didnt attempt to make conversation - even though I wanted to. I guess im just adjusting to this new atmosphere.
lol you're such a loser

i want to meet airness though and jago.

i just talk to people randomly i guess. i met most of them at o-week or people have introduced me to new people that are uber cool to talk to.

They're probably international students, they do tend to dress differently than local asian girls

I saw a worse international student yesterday:
  • cowskin clothing
  • cowskin boots
  • skinny as a stick
  • pale as a sheet of paper
  • teeth deformed
  • hair grown extra long
  • massive style glasses
  • chest hair extra long

It wasn't funny, it was disgusting because he was dressing for the 'style' in Japan, which is obviously not the same here.
zOMG

He was in a few of my classes last year. Fob-iest honkey ever. Always walked in twenty minutes late with his headphones going full loud.

I was going to go make friends with (read: steal bbq goodness from) some of the first years today, but i went to the wrong freakin lawn. Walked aaall the way up the steps for it too.
