Oh hey, depends on my UAI.. If I get 90 I think I mite go to Orange campus as it seems like they have a lower UAI cut off.

yeah the UAI for media+ comm at USYD is high , 98.5 or something but i probably won't do it, dunno why i put it on the list...oh well i might change my mind later so yeah
Fair enough. It's also on my list but quite low so I'll probably get rid of it cause even if I get the UAI I'd get an offer from something else first. That and I intend to go to Melbourne so I really need to work out my VTAC courses as well :p

i heard its wagga thats better , cos orange teaches using powerpoints and vidoes apparently.

but then orange is more new , and yeah the UAI is lower.
i read somewhere that the wagga campus is haunted LOL , so thats a bit freaky.

Yes, you would. You get an offer to the highest course on your list that you meet the cut-off for, no matter where on the list it is.

enlighten me...
what's the difference between bioinformatics/biomed/biotech??
they all have BIO at the front so they're pretty much the same to me.
Biotech is under science, whereas bioinformatics and biomed are under engineering, so the latter two have a stronger focus on design, I guess o.o;

From UNSW:

Bioinformatics = Analysis of data generated by genome projects and post-genomic biology
Biomed = Development of systems to maintain/enhance quality of life
Biotech = Manipulating microbial, plant and animal cells and their components for the benefit of people

isnt the biotech part of science to do with making vaccines and stuff like that ?
thats what i kinda learnt from the UAC guide ! :p !

sounded interesting at first , but .. i`d still do something rather than B science. B science seems like it`ll remind me of yr 12 again , loll =]

Nah, hate experiments cos I'm generally too uncoordinated. Prefer theory more XD

Then again, everything in science has at least 1 experiment, I guess, so meh. Not like I'd do better in any other faculties XD
