Cyph, the normal level of maths: MATH1110 and MATH1120 are pretty easy, I did them both this year and I'm kinda wishing that i did advanced instead. You can always have a go at advanced maths and drop down to normal if it is too much of a pain.

well, if u have a crap or nil teacher, than a tutor is probably advised, but its not required if your teacher covers it in class, look at pigs, he had no tutor :)

i felt alot of it is hard work done by yourself and doing lots of questions. though i didnt have a tutor, i felt it wouldve definitely helped as he/she can pass on alot of tricks and techniques that your teacher does not mention and you do not pick up by yourself.

only did 3u at school. still pissed off that noone in my class was allowed to even try 4u coz teachers reckoned our yr11 marks were too shit....out of a class of 6 we ended up getting 4 E4s, and 1 one mark away from E4 in HSC

I would of had to do it via correspondance and since I dont need it to get the UAI I need, I didnt want to spend 2-3hrs a night on stuff that Im going to cover in Uni anyway.

@ abdooooo!!!
It really depends on the tutor that you have
Mainly his/her method of teaching you
And how they tryin motivate you
