i did that too. i was doing okay in 2 unit but it was so boring, and i didn't need it so i dropped to general, enjoyed it more, and came out with a pretty good mark. 93 was excellent considering only 3% of general students got over 90. and coz it was my best mark too!

Wow... more ppl do ext1 than i expected.
Why would u wanna do ext1 and not ext2, seeing as how if u do ext1, only 1 unit is extension and u basically have to learn about the same amount of new stuff as normal 2u, just for that one unit... hmmmm

You got 93 too? Nice.

I was a General Mathematics student throughout my senior years.

My dad would look at a 4unit textbook and ask why I would do that instead of accounting.

I know it is, but its a basic cause, I would have to try and understand everything from a textbook which can be ambiguous at times.

So since Im going to learn it in Uni anyway, there really was no point me doing it, since I didnt need it for my UAI

I congratulate u on studying hard and doing well without the help of tutors.

what i hate is all these dickheads in my class who go to tutors think their all fuking smart cause they already learnt this.

and when it comes to the test i beat these dickheads. Not because i have a tutor but because my parents helped me to understand the work , and hard work from myself .

That's just one group of tutored people.

I got tutors in chem and English. My chem tutor taught me about actual chemistry, and my English tutor did what my English teacher was lacking, teaching skills.

Sometimes it's a necessity if you're dealing with ineptitude.

English I got from a person, referred to him by a guy from the year above me. Went for 10 lessons.

The Chemistry was from a guy called Lofts. My mother's entire family went there at one stage or another in their lives. And so too did I.
