they don't actually give you your exact mark or how many you got correct for hast, they only tell you how well you performed compared to everyone else sitting the test, like the yr 7 selective. There is top 10%, top 15%, middle 50%, bottom 15% and lowest 10%. For yr 8 entry, there were only 3 sections in abstract reasoning with 10 questions each - Next in sequence, middle of sequence, and complete the pattern. You need to be quick with abstract reasoning though, because you can only spend ~1 min per question if you want to get them all done in time. There weren't actually 2 writing prompts, there was only 1, and it was discursive. It was something like "is honesty good or bad?" Reading has a lot of graphs. There were like maps, diagrams and pictures. There were like 2 text extracts and 1 poem which I found the hardest. The questions are super abstract, and you need to answer each one with a clear mind. maths had like 1 or 2 graphs, but other than that, there were long paragraphs with scientific terms.
