My Modern History mark, 93% (first in the year), confused the hell out of me. Considering that the final essay (which was worth 25% of the mark) was a horrific abortion of a last-ten-minutes rush job, I don't know how on Earth I did so well.

My French marks, on the other hand, were entirely unsurprising. 50% on the speaking exam? No, that mark wasn't foreseeable during the awkward, halting conversation I forced my vocal cords to produce for it. Not at all. However, on the bright side, I came second...

...in a class of three people, one of whom has French grandparents. My victory now feels somewhat hollow.

i didnt do too well, but my ranks were ok. and considering my school is in the top 200.. although not very high up i guess its ok.

Maths 2U - 53% (really bad i know, i shouldn't really be in 2U but i am haha.. i dont know my rank)

English std - 59% (6th)
Business Studies - 67% (4th)
PDHPE - 60% (7th)
Bio - 71% (dont know rank)

Eh, it's jsut more a of a girl subject in the same way that Software is. I know i'm stereotyping, but that's jsut the way it comes across.

Blah, the half yearlies are so depressing, i swear. I was doing pretty well untill the half yearlies came. Lousy piece of shit, and the worst thing is that they are worth the most so far. :burn: Congrats on everyone that did well, as for the rest... only the trails can save us.

Ext English - 62 <- wasnt worth anything

My Adv. english teacher says that I need to improve even though my overall is 89. She has this really bad habit of comparing me and the two other girls in my class to the only guy, "the golden child", who is freakishly smart. The teacher is one of those mark you hard so youll improve people.
Anyway all I can say is, thank god my ext mark didnt count.
