I usually avoid the main library walkway if I can by going via Law/Scientia route. It's much better looking and is much less crowded. Plus that lone tree on the scientia lawn looks quite groovy.

It may or may not be that only one of these three is the real answer...

there's plenty of high buildings you could jump off of at uni... why bother going all the way up there. it's not like you wont die if you jump off the top of the civil engineering building (i went up to the top today and it really is very high up there) which is 8 floors
