So far the plan is to get the Latin word for 'strength' (which I can't remember right now) done in cool lettering somehwhere near my hip. Hopefully I won't chicken out!

You should be careful, I remember this website that displayed people with Japanese letters that had certain meanings, or so they thought. WHen translated by someone actually Japanese they found people had tattoos saying one thing instead of another.

Yeah I'm kinda paranoid about ending up with a tat that says something ridiculous or unintentionally religious, so I'm doing some serious research before I let anyone with ink near my precious blank canvas of a hip.

If you really cared about its confidentiality, you really shouldn't have mentioned it in the first place. Rather stupid to draw attention to it but then say it's private, hmm?

I think it's difficult getting ink on the back of your neck. I'm told the same about the wrist, but I don't care.

Ah, I love randoms coming to my job. One boser saw me in my (lame) Sony shirt, and followed me around the shop. I said that if they needed help, they'd have to ask the actual shop assistant. They then said "You're pooyoo off bored!", right infront of all these retail staff and customers. So random. There's nothign you can do but pull them aside, pretend you're interested in them, give them a free Pulse magazine, and say you have to run.

If I stayed with Sony, and didn't leave, I would eventually become a Representative. Ie, you negotiate quantity and prices with the shops, you tell them about how you want them to display X and how, you talk to the retailers abotu new products and existing info, etc etc. It's a good job, but they're very serious, and I'm over that. I want to work at either a music shop, or a book shop. Either one.

Wow this thread has gone off the beaten track a tad!

I want(ed) a tattoo on the underside of my wrist too, or on my ankle/foot, but either way I wont get one (dont have the money, and I'm becomming too consevative at my old age ). But I figure in those two locations they're relatively easy to hide to keep up appearances.

James, I'll get Steve to send you that stuff.. the bugger has gone off to work today leaving me all on my lonesome- thank god I got some books yesterday to read!

And my plans are to bum, sleep in (although that hasnt yet happened really), shop, listen to PSY235(or is it 6?), be taught statistics and then Skittled and I are going away to the Blue Mountains for our 1 year, 2 month anniversary (the actual one year celebrations were delayed, stupid uni).

i actually would not mind a little black tat on my upper arm. dont know if i can get one. dont know if i'd be seen too well with parents. the thing is that it is a permanent thing, so the idea of it being with you forever is a bit discerning.

If i got a tatoo it would be a PhoeniX (probably Cyan coloured).

But i wouldn't get one, only because of the permanent aspect. Their is no symbol that i would want to keep and i would probably get sick of it after a few years. Theres probably a way of removing them, but that just defeats the purpose.


Until then, i'll just use the tatoos that come free in the coco-pops box. Nothing beats Class-A Kitsch.
