ebay makes heaps of profits man!
when you list and item, they charge ya from 35cents to $60 AU depending on your options, e.g. which category (more money for popular items) if you want ur listing to be bolded, more money. highlighted, more money
if you dont know how to use html and dont know how to host ur own pictures, you can have a gallery item - each photo costs like 75cents - the first picutre you upload to ebay is for free
and yeah, after the sale ends, the seller has to pay approx 5.6% of the final price to ebay
its not much, but think about it. theres like 3 million auctions ending each day.. haha how much money is that?!
yeah paypal fees vary - normally its $2.50US
