I HATE SHM! (Didn't mean for that whole sentence to be capital xD) I think it's my worst part at the moment :S A month until the HSC from today? 2U is the 27th of October right? :S

I don't love Maths, but I prefer it over the other subjects especially English D: Physics and Chemistry are alright so far so I can't choose between Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
SHM is hard to grasp, but it is also very interesting. Woo a fellow accelerant :p
Yeah I gotta start cramming for my HSC as well... only a month to go =[

I think all maths is interesting (except for General - that stuff's pointless to me)
haha I think completely the opposite way, I reckon the stuff in 2U and above is utterly pointless. If someone had forced me to do maths next year I would have done general because it can be applied to everyday life and that's what I like. When will I ever need to use... quadratic equations? :hammer:

When we were doing Application of Calculus, teacher asked us if we wanted to do projectile motion or SHM first. We replied SHM because of the word "simple" xD We ended up doing projectile first because it was easier. A lot easier...

I was going to spend my whole holidays just doing Maths since preliminary was finished, yet here I am :S

LOL yes - Simple Harmonic Motion is a very misleading topic... I fell into that trap as well... I was like 'simple harmonic motion... why is this in MX1' - that taught me to shut up :p

Yeah - I'm going to take a break and then I'm going to start studying for maths tomorrow - arrgghh a month is going to fly past real quickly.

I ask myself and the people who stare at me when I'm telling them that I'm not doing any maths next year the same question. I might rediscover it in midlife and find that I like it. Until then...

Whee, I love calculus and graphing.
Circle geometry and parametrics can be fun, too.

Trigonometry is my worst enemy.
