* Know your definitions - find some glossaries.
* Practice on past papers to get more familiar with the type of questions.
* Writing enough points (that's all IPT is) for each question. 1 point for 1 mark or something close. 5-6 marks = 1 page.
* Know how to draw DFD, Context Diagrams and ERDs. Know how to normalise and reduce data redundancy.
* Remember all the social and ethical issues you can.
* Relate back to CONTEXT. You'll never get full marks with plain regurgitation, you need to apply the knowledge to the situation you're presented with.
If you do Multimedia, learn how to do the calculations for the file types. Also examples of each data type as well as software that creates/edits that sort of stuff.
