I got 5 exams before this, then I got a whole week to study for it. Anyone else studying for this exam when it comes?

my schedule goes:

modern history 28th
ipt 30th
religion 31st
extension history 3rd

hectic amount of content in the histories...so ipt may be studied on the 29th only.
ha.
oh well, have summarised a lot anyway and it's all straightforward. so shouldn't be too intense.

Meh I haven't started studying for this but i got 2 days to study for it after my maths exam next monday. IPT is a pretty straightforward subject so it shouldn't be that hard.

How would I go about Studying for this guys.
The usual jist of this exam is a few tech definitions, some diagrams and the rest case studies which you can crap on about.
Can anyone allude to what I can do from now to then

 

[Makro]

* Know your definitions - find some glossaries.
* Practice on past papers to get more familiar with the type of questions.
* Writing enough points (that's all IPT is) for each question. 1 point for 1 mark or something close. 5-6 marks = 1 page.
* Know how to draw DFD, Context Diagrams and ERDs. Know how to normalise and reduce data redundancy.
* Remember all the social and ethical issues you can.
* Relate back to CONTEXT. You'll never get full marks with plain regurgitation, you need to apply the knowledge to the situation you're presented with.

If you do Multimedia, learn how to do the calculations for the file types. Also examples of each data type as well as software that creates/edits that sort of stuff.

Lol. I'm accelerate so I have no other HSC exams. All I have is SC later on and that's damn easy. I've done about 20 past papers for IPT anyway, try to start studying more the month before the exam.

I doubt IPT will count for me.
Going to go through some notes today. I had a terrible teacher for IPT over the last two years who just destroys any interesting part of IPT that previously did exist. So yeah. Diagrams, definitions, file sizes... all that. good fun .
And Operational, Technical, Economic and schedule feasibility.
