its mainly stuff owned and licensed by universal motion pictures that get tracked down, but still licensed anime is alright if they are fansubs cos they dont get paid much attention to

oh just finished watching spirited away, that was a great movie...a bit like alice in wonderland style but 100 times better yay! The friendship between the kids were so sweet and usually i'm a multitasker, but this movie managed to hold my attention the whole time. 5/5 stars

The story is set in tokyo, where a new kind of bomb(you find out what it is later) has destroyed tokyo.
9 hours later , WWIII breaks out and most if not all countries fall.
So, 31 years later, they stand now in neo-tokyo.
The story revolves around a bikey gang consisting of tetsuo, kaneda and friends.
One night Tetsuo crashes in what seemed to be a little boy, yet he is as if he is a ghost and has an old mans face. He vanishes.
Tetsuo goes to the hospital.
The boy who he ran into was apart of a new military project who develops human weapons with aid of these powers such as telekinisis etc.
Following Tetsuo and crew are a semi-terroristic group who want to discover and destroy their plans.
In turn Tetsuo becomes apart of the military project. His powers grow tremednously, far too quick for the military to handle.
Tetsuo manages to find out the location of an underground freeze chamber, where the mysterius AKIRA is kept.
Akira, too was a member of the project. But why did they put him in the freeze chamber at 0,0005 Kelvin.
The military were afraid of something no doubt, something they could not control. Something tetsuo is going to set free.

Any One here a Fan a Neon Genesis Evangelion (Maybe I should not be asking this seen as I am in an anime forum , lol). Its Sad how Cartoon Network scrapped it 
, maybe I should do some Aggressive neogations ,lol.

o im currently watching that as well...downloading it off kazaa at snails pace but a little faster than bit torrent which kinda threw me off at the will be completed in 600hrs

Sbs use to show it , Cartoon Net showed it from 2002 to early this year and now they have taken it off. I will probably get the box set any way or maybe wait for the Renewal: platinum Dvds to come out ( better picture, more features , etc)

yeh looks pretty good...so its gonna be an american live action or japanses one? Am looking forward to it as long as the rumours about that harry potter dude playing shinji arent true.
