I agree with Katie, slight moderation keeps things in order, and stops the new threads getting out of control. If a bunch of people want to spam a topic with mindless crap, then that's fine, but leave it in one thread.

And as for the issue about Child Pornography, KT has a completely legitimate argument: The thread was deleted because it talked about things that were illegal. By that logic, shouldn't all these threads about Terrorism be deleted as well?
