yup i considered commerce, but i think I would enjoy comp sci more (it looks more fun rather then memorising boring idk laws and writing essays or whatever u do in comm).

    paramedicine at usyd? ... unsw?

Has anyone done the Paramedicine course at WSU, or any paramedicine course for that matter, that could offer me some insight into what you study, and the overall difficulty of the course?

    Atar Estimate

Is comp sci any good? I B6ed adv maths in my hsc, so like idk, i have a knack for maths lol. Is it very maths heavy and similar to hsc level or harder?

    Is a commerce degree hard?

bruh lmao. Maybe. But that is besides the point, I am more looking to see the difficulty level of this degree, and what sort of GPA i can achieve.

    Is a commerce degree hard?

So lets say ur taking 3u maths and business studies? How hard would it be to get a 6.5+ GPA in this course. I am a competent maths student, and maths/biz are my two best subjects this year in the hsc? Would commerce with like finance major be best for me then? And do lecturers generally award...

    Math Advanced Prediction/Thoughts

Guys, what do you think the scaling will be like? If we compare to the last major syllabus change in 2012, the second year for that, the exam for maths, 2013, was really hard, and had a 75 as a band 6. Last year (2020) about a 82 was a band 6. But if we look to other subjects, for example...

    2013 math difficulty

lmao, history is repeating itself as we speak.

    Atar Estimate

Ah shit. I was like 10 points off a 93rd percentile too. Ugh. I just pray they lower it or idk something happens.
  13. A

    Atar Estimate

Well if you get like lets say around a 90-91 in each subject that would probs be a high 97/low 98, but if you get like idk a 95 in each subject thats a 99 most definitely
  14. A

    Atar Estimate

Okay considering it looks like your gonna band 6 internally every subject, and you dont flunk your hsc, i would say in the 97-98 range (maybe 99 depending on how high you band 6?)

    I think I screwed up..

alr tru, yea its not the rural kids fault, its the med schools fault lol. Yea UCAT is a very studyable test, esp now with so many resources online that can help u. Just tests diff skills, but still skills u can develop.

    I think I screwed up..

Idk, it tests diff stuff to the HSC. Its like innate but not pure innate, you can defo study for it, with Medify, Medentry, and other practice online exam prep sites, its just a v diff kinda exam, in which it tests skills and qualities that you need to possess to be a good doctor (like pattern...

    I think I screwed up..

Bruh legit Quantitative reasoning is mental maths. You can improve in maths by just practice. Like ig theres a limit to how much u can go, but learning proper technique you can improve in my opinion. Yea Ik they say innate or whatever, but its not rlly ALL innate lmao.
  18. A

    I think I screwed up..

Yea i reckon those innate skills can be improved with more hours. As someone who has studied and sat the UCAT, I can tell you from first hand experience, I was getting like 60th percentile when i first started my preparation, but after 2 or so months, it increased by quite a bit.

    ngl thats me rn

    Atar Estimate

lmao okay. Your probs gonna get over a 95+, considering your school and the number of band 6s in your school and you doing like 4u maths. Were you hoping for a specific target atar or anything?
