    I think I screwed up..

Tru, but like the UCAT is a very doable exam. if anything it just shows a lack of discipline, as people aren't prepared to put in the hours to get a higher UCAT score. Wouldn't that same work ethic carry over to their university studies?

    I think I screwed up..

Bruh i don't even get that. So people in rural communities just get worse doctors or what? They're legit letting less "smart" students enter into med, producing potentially lower quality doctors in rural areas. Like i guess the rural kids don't have access to the same resources a city student...

Yea, being first in a cohort of 5, and a cohort of 50 is a very different thing. Also if you have trial marks that helps (gives an indication of what you could get in the hsc)

Perhaps give how many people are in the cohort and your overall average too?

    I think I screwed up..

Yea tru. Damn that rlly sucks tho, I allways thought that just a 90th percentile UCAT or higher was good enough for med or even dentistry at least. In the UK they legit have kids with 2700 UCAT's getting into med lmao.

I sat UCAT and got 92nd percentile (3010). I was hoping that i would apply for WSU or UNE, in which they have a hurdle system (get the minimum atar req, and then atar is discarded if I recall correctly - applicants ranked on interview/UCAT performance).

Yea but If i'm ranked like 30th in a subject, my internal mark will be whatever the 30th highest scaled mark is in the hsc, in my cohort. Now if that 30th highest mark raw was like 60%, but then scales to a 70%, I would end up with a 70 as my internal mark then. Is that correct? Cuz thats rlly...

Bruh, and I've been sweating so hard for english. I have been doing papers since like July for English, and my tutors all say im a capable student and what not. But when i do an eng assessment, BANG phat 14/20 or like a 12 or sum shit. Its so depressing.

But would i have to get like high 90s in the hsc, as its averaged out right? If my internal mark is a 86 (for maths advanced - which as i go to a low rank school of 300, it would either stay the same once moderated, or go even lower) that would mean i need a 95 in the hsc to get a 90 total? Cuz...

    I think I screwed up..

I ended up getting a 92nd percentile UCAT. Is that enough for any Med school in NSW? My score was 3010 (650 Vr, 710 DM, 880 QR, 770 AR) I dont think my atar will be rlly high tho, at most a 93 - 94 (which i am hoping will meet the cutoff for WSU [93.5 min i think] - I am a GWS applicant btw)

Each Cohort has about 50 - 100 kids (I cant remember exact - but i put some up there anyways - besides X1 maths which is like 20 - 30)
