    General Thoughts: Physics

Now I'm seriously confused. Half say it does, half say it doesn't. Isn't it Meissner, but an initial thrust is given, propelling it along the track? There's EDS and EMS. One doesn't use superconductors, just normal magnetic fields, propelling due to Lenz's Law right?

The same thing will probably happen with the photocell question too. So much debate. We have to see what happens later on.

    Anyone into BICYCLE riding?

Nice. I discovered the m7 bike track about 10 months ago. Been wanting to go the whole way to bicenntenial. Only problem is, it'll take around 8 hours. Probably best to do as a group.

What are your uni course preferences?

"So how did you go in HSC" "................" "There's always UWS" Taking it too far. Don't UWS have a good medicine and Law faculty though? I know engineering is bad, but I'm guessing something there is good.

    Full Examination Paper

We should be alright. If you wrote all of this: http://www.engineersgarage.com/electronic-circuits/working-light-dependent-resistor Which is what I did and added the pn junctions, then should be at least 2 marks. I have always thought that LDRs are pn junctions with a cathode and anode...

Don't worry to much about it. Everyone will feel bad about something. The only exams that I am happy with no mistakes are English 1 and 2. So many mistakes in everything else, but oh well. If you tried your best, then you should be happy. I'm speculating that I may only get a low band 5 for...

    The Age Of Silicon.

Yeah it was pretty easy. I think the LDR in cameras though would have put some people off. Same as the transducer 4-marker. I lost 1 mark though for the potential divider though. forgot to put R/1000 when I simplified it. I was surprised that the amplifier question was not difficult. I'm...

Hopefully some of the eng maths and actuarial maths lectures are on together.

Too tired to check. Game-over HSC. Well played Physics manipulative questions that are too hard to get all right in 35 minutes. Well played. 19/20 in chem in 20 mins. is good enough for me.

    Engineering Mathematics?

Maybe its just the lecturer and UOC that you're doing for that particular time? Surely it can't be an ongoing thing. Aren't you fine if you read the books. I'm practically used to this cause at high school we don't really get spoon-fed for everything.

    General Thoughts: Physics

:D So anxious for results. Our school is very volatile on yearly results. One year highest 92. Next year 78. Hopefully three 90's this year.

I don't know. Hope that I can somehow integrate chemistry into electrical. It only looks good in terms of pv cells and materials used and batteries. Worst compromise of wanting to do chemical and electrical at the same time. And you probably would have benefited more with chem for med.

I really, really, really hope that the markers for my paper have done Age of Silicon, cause they will know what point I tried to make.
