Don't worry, you have us now :p By the census date. This is usually 4-6 weeks after semester commmencement (so late march/early april).

    2014'ers Chit-Chat Thread

I have a friend in architecture. It doesn't have too much maths involved. He did 2-unit and is fine with it (getting D's and HD's). However, Engineering is heavily Math dependent. For IT, architecture and depending on your major in engineering, some Physics might be useful. However, it is not...

Transfering to Law? Which way the best?

At least now you have made the right decision and have not really wasted too much time/money on finishing the degree "on-time".

Ranks needed for 90 ATAR with these subjects

I was correct for my school. But then again we were low ranking.

    Graphs question

Correct. Do a quick sketch for these questions to make sure that you get the correct domain and range.

http://community.boredofstudies.org/members/1610869646/onur91/ However, I think you might be able to get away with it since the user seems old and probably not going to come back anymore. It would be a shame though, since I think this one suits you (with the suit and all). Plus, the posts were...

Transfering to Law? Which way the best?

I had the choice to do law/engineering. I chose to stick with engineering because I knew I wouldn't enjoy law. So that is one example of how it doesn't matter as long as you are happy.

    P's test.

You can't go through roundabouts. I'm not sure but that might be an instant "FAIL item". Check the booklet : "A guide to the driving test" to see the list of "FAIL items". Just use two hands and take your time. Is this manual or auto? Because if its auto you have no excuse but to use both...

Mate, you have to do it my way so that you are forced to stay in 4U. Got 98 in first MX1, 96 in first MX2, then 91 in first 2-unit. Half-yearlies: 99 in MX1, 97 in MX2, 94 in 2-unit. 3/4 yearlies: 95 MX1, 91 MX2, 81 2-unit (because I never learnt the financial stuff) lol. For our school...

Transfering to Law? Which way the best?

Did you at least want to do Law in the first place though? Or did you just try it out? Just one thing that people should realise: Follow the dream course and don't think that by not choosing something else with a higher cut-off you have "wasted ATAR" because you should just follow what you want...

do most units at unsw have online lectures?

Awks if its done to a couple. Seriously but that doesn't work when you have to car, then train, then bus for 2 hours before uni. I almost slept on the train once coming back home but my consciousness was wondering of the time I would waste if I missed my stop and the possible stealing that...

    Isotopes - Chemistry

Isotopes are a variant of an element purely due to a different number of neutrons in the nucleus. For example: Potassium-14, has 7 neutrons in the nucleus and Potassium-15 has 8 neutrons in the nucleus. These two are isotopes of the same element Potassium. Btw, next time post this in the...

Was the kerb curved up and smooth? What they mean by mounting a kerb is as in driving a car up a physical step or stairway.

    99+ ATAR, 3+ Years Tutoring English (96), Economics (93), French, History (49/50)

Re: Guaranteed Band 6 in English! My teachers who were markers of English HSC said I would get a Band 6. They guaranteed definite Band 5 or higher. I got Band 4 lol. Though I have no doubt you would still be a great tutor.
