No. In my school the class finished everything for the tests (half the courses) only a few days before half-yearlies. I finished a week before that to get some good study in, as I used the summer holidays wisely to get ahead in Maths, Physics and Chem.

Stress relief plus I had fun in that class. Also, it was an ok backup as for trials I didn't study but got 80%, almost the same for Chem (but stricter marking).

I think OP is doing HSC now. So this would help OP next year instead.

Find an activity to calm you down. Personally I used sports as a form of relaxation and even meditation away from studies. I played soccer throughout HSC and for a long time now with a club which would give me the opportunity to experience something new every week. I do bike riding as a...

Just see how you go this year. I guess by asking us you can't really do much at the moment. All that this thread can help you with, is on a decision to stick to electrical engineering or not. If you have a deep interest in Maths and Physics then you could still have motivation to do the course.

Speak to your school's principal. I believe they have a certain amount in responsibility in ensuring your eligibility for an ATAR.

Keep on going with it and learn it all asap. However, you can use past-papers as a great way to learn new content. So you may actually be able to learn that extra content you haven't done yet by doing some past paper work.
