Very Interesting Concept for a Motorsport Team....

;) Though I'm speaking small scale. When it comes to formula one or V8 supercars or NASCAR, etc, the hobby is largely widespread and there is money to be potentially invested that could still gain some sort of rewards, even out of interest. However all those weekend competitions, there's...

Pretty much that's how it is.

Very Interesting Concept for a Motorsport Team....

Its difficult to find funding because companies would rather invest in something more sustainable or that can make them better profits. For example, the racing team at uni gets over 5 times less funding altogether compared to the solar car team. Its because they see solar cars as much more...

    HSC Physics required for Engineering?

I was just about to do this when I saw the thread. Forgot one more recent one: http://community.boredofstudies.org/585/engineering/327616/electrical-engineering.html Do keep in mind that for Electrical Engineering there is a difference. Also, if you want to go for something health...

Are you comfortable with 24/7 Government Surveillance?

Re: Congratulations, we have lost our freedom. Inb4 people suspect illuminati conspiracy theories. Lol its even a triangle :p.

    ELEC1112 in the Summer

inb4 I know you. Our 1112 exam rekt everyone completely. There was even some sort of aligning involved from the way I looked at it. A few people I heard even ended up with a Pass Conceded.

    Official BOS Trial 2014 Thread

Would it be possible to book more rooms since its mid sem (more like 3/4-erly sem) or would it be too difficult to do?

    Lenz and Faraday

Without Faraday's Law, Lenz's Law would be too difficult to explain. I mean some refer to Lenz's Law as an account of "Newton's Third Law" for electromagnetics. I can see where they come from using that with changing flux, however that makes it harder to understand.

    Lenz and Faraday

Lenz's Law refers to an induced emf on a conductor forcing a current to be produced that produces a magnetic field to oppose the change in magnetic flux on the conductor. Faraday's Law refers to an emf induced in a conductor when there is a change in magnetic flux for the conductor (induced...

    ELEC1112 in the Summer

I found it quite a difficult course when I did it in first sem. Was my lowest mark by almost 20 in comparison to my other marks. However I really enjoyed the course, and I constantly see myself doing challenging questions that ELEC1111 students do currently. Not sure how it runs in the summer...

    How bad are unsw interviews?

Coming from an engo kid with no UMAT/med experience or no intentions of it ever (probs complete fail and would get crossed off the list): a. Persuade her to tell him of the situation to let him decide whether he is willing to take the risk or not. Tell her that if she doesn't tell him, then she...

Muslim beheads woman in in Oklahoma

The media just probed "Muslim" into the headings and articles so that it catches the attention of more people. Also, edit your bold massive size writing SylviaB (unless you did it on purpose to attract more people to read the article ;)) as the article never said he was shot dead lol.

    2014 AFL Grand Final

Tbh, some people who aren't players seem to not get this. Some players themselves can't get this. So it depends on the individual I guess.

    2014 AFL Grand Final

Well the biggest loss of my season this year was in one of our grand finals. Everyone had a terrible day. We all played terribly. We had a referee who knew all the other team's players, we had a pitch which suited kick and chase, and literally 5 of us got injured due to the other teams...

I am quite happy tradies do exist because then I can actually get my job done and work on something else even quicker. Tradies are important people. Talk shit, get hit.

    Physics in Engineering

Actually if you do Telecommunications or Electrical its a completely different story because you have to do the HIGHER PHYSICS 1B course. In this course, there's a lot of HSC content brushed on. However I would say you can still do well in it if you haven't done Physics in high school...

Most universities in Australia have a similar thing going except the money used is in the order of less than $20k.

    Electrical engineering

This. However, I would emphasise that without a doubt MX1 is more important than all for first sem UNSW Physics (only UNSW though). You barely MX2 type maths in first sem Physics.
