So. I got my exams back. What to drop between Biology, Physics and Chem?

My School is weird so they did the Prelims in the past two weeks. Here are marks and assumed rankings (not sure since school doesn't give unless we ask) English Adv. - ?? - Rank ?? (Eng teacher going to have sessions w/ students for improvements so she doesn't want us to know yet) Mathematics...

Looking at previous notes or writing completely new ones?

Guys I know Past Papers are effective for revision. However, creating notes for summarising the syllabus etc. is still necessary in order to know all of the info within the topics. Past Papers do not necessarily include every point of the syllabus but they are good for revision. Really I'm...

Looking at previous notes or writing completely new ones?

For half-yearly's, they consisted of 2 topics which are also included in the yearly exams along with two other topics. With content-heavy subjects such as Biology, Business Studies etc., I have a limited time (2 weeks) to completely study for the exams. I've already created notes for the...

Soo, update on that $80/hr Math Tutor.

    - College teacher for about 5 years. - Tutored Professional Engineering in USyd. - One-On-One Tutoring for more than 8 years. - Band 6 in HSC 3U at Sydney Tech. - B.E. at USyd. yeah. I'd say he's a teacher. I didn't pick the tutor and my family picked him for me, so I didn't really know at...

Soo, update on that $80/hr Math Tutor.

He's been extremely helpful on in class stuff and things I give him. He gives me tons of papers for Physics and Extension 1 Maths. The thing is that, I don't think that simple Math helping is justifiable for $80, even if its a private 1 on 1. Now, with Trials, HSC coming up, is it still a good...

Should I go for 4U Maths Next year? Advice appreciated!

Everything I agree with, and I qualify for, other than teacher's opinion. A teacher's opinion might not be as reliable IMO. You have lackluster teachers sometimes and if you aren't in top 5 they might just not consider you at all 4U material.

Should I go for 4U Maths Next year? Advice appreciated!

So my school started handing out forms for dropping subjects etc. Sadly I wasn't able to pick up another subject since it was too late to realise that I was required to complete Prelim. I'm not sure if I should pick up Ext2 Maths. I'm only decent at Maths and above average at best. I got around...

Got my grade for 2U & Extension 1, not the rest though but probably next week. Our school doesn't do rankings which I am kind of mad about, but I'm disappointed with my grades either way. 2U - B, got about 85% on the exam. Ext1 - C, got 60% on the exam. Messed up in the topic test and...

How would I sketch this? (3D Trigonometry)

A is due South of the Base of the Tower(T). The angle of elevation to the top of the tower is 10 degrees. B is on a bearing of 132 from the base of the tower. From B, the angle of of elevation to the top o fthe tower is 15 degrees. A and B are 120m apart.

Semester 1 Exams, how do I organize certain subjects?

And here I am procrastinating a week before exams. I have 7 exams next week. Monday: English, ME1, Tuesday - Business St. Wednesday - M2U, Biology Thursday - Physics Friday - Chem. I'm probably going to study English and Maths the most, as they are probably the most crucial subjects...

    sin(theta)/3 = 2/sinx+2

Hi, Sorry again, thank you guys so much for your help. I've tried doing this and ended up with theta being an undefined answer as it gives me that sin theta is more than one or is negative. So here's what I did. I'll make theta = x for simplicity sakes. sin(x) = 6/(sinx + 2) sin(x) * (sinx)...

Confusing question, not sure how to draw exactly. Easy 2U.

Teacher gave us a take-home exam. I know I'm not meant to seek help but this question is weird as hell. Helen is standing at a bus stop and can see a man on top of a building, The angle of elevation to the man is 46 degrees. She is wondering what he is doing and walks towards the building 13m...
