    Official BOS Trial 2014 Thread

It would be pretty easy to set a for loop to count it all up haha. This. In the end the computer will do a million times more calculations than you need to as a human. Think about all those poor electrons!

    bonus points

Apply through EAS and hope for the best. Depends on your disadvantages though in most cases its usually just one or two marks (unless you've had some really big disadvantages going on of course where it could be more).

On this note, I'll be wearing blue shorts, blue indoor boots, a blue and white polo, a watch and to make things easier I will be wearing a green jacket if its cold (nobody wears green so yeah).

    Official BOS Trial 2014 Thread

Hey all. I most likely will be present during the break. If you have any questions about engineering in first year and engineering in general do feel free to throw them at me. Heck throw a textbook of questions. I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability. Such a great initiative from...

    For feas

The most important thing to even receive a uni offer is fill and pay for UAC. However, there is no section on UAC applications specific to FEAS. FEAS applications are done through the FEAS login application and after that there are some processes which follow. In the end FEAS is just a backup...

    HSC Physics Marathon 2013-2015 Archive

Re: HSC Physics Marathon 2014 Someone do answer. It would be a waste if I had to do it for everyone. If you have attempted it but got nowhere post in the thread and I can give hints. If no-one does it by this weekend I'll just put up the answer.

    'Exciting' cars for under $20k

My car is a hella of a lot interesting simply because it shakes so much you feel like you are dancing in it. On a more serious note, a very comfortable used car which you can get used for less than $20k is a 2008-2010 liberty. However this isn't exactly a small car. Its actually bigger than a...

    HSC Physics - 2014 Predictions

Lol some of this may help although a lot of it may be out of syllabus (disclaimer, there may be a few typos which I haven't fixed up yet in there). http://community.boredofstudies.org/265/ideas-implementation/323842/transistor.html

    Why is this in here? Its either E or C. I'm more inclined to E because the wording in (III) is not completely correct. You can actually get certain interference patterns which will not filter out the light to make it completely dark. // EOF; Ctrl+D; Back on topic;

    ELEC1112 in the Summer

ELEC1112 and ELEC1111 are completely equivalent. I have a few Electrical Engineering buddies doing ELEC1111 right now because its equivalent and won't affect their final UOC in comparison to doing ELEC1112. So cringe worthy they had one less topic to study for the mid sem (though it was of...

Since i suck at science subjects should i steer to business, despite 0 business knowl

Re: Since i suck at science subjects should i steer to business, despite 0 business k This to the extent that you don't do Physics as a degree or else understanding how things work is not just MX2 by itself anymore.

The question was on naming a scientist in space exploration and had something to do with that (can't remember now exactly what).

How fast is your university internet speeds?

You'd be surprised how some people are ;) Wait that's 8 times less so that's around 90 MBps. Actually now to think of it, I'm not sure whether our measurements above were in Megabits or Megabytes. I might check tomorrow at uni if I find the time to (given its mid-sem it should be a lot...

    HSC Physics - 2014 Predictions

Yeah last year we had to write about a scientist contributing to space exploration. Good thing is that our teacher spent a good 2 weeks with us exactly a year before the exam where we watched Space Race and made and ate popcorn lol.
