    Building new PC

With cases, I've set a limit of 500 mm (height) x 260 mm (width) x 500 mm (depth). In terms of the ventilation, it's good from the front only. Rest is kinda blocked off because of the position it is in. The less the height and width, the better the ventilation across the sides. The back is...

Can I get in B Combined Commerce?

That's a really close call and you should definitely have a few backup plans in place. You don't know the cut-off for main round offers until after offers are given out (so really you have no way of telling as of yet if you will/won't make it in).

    quick commerical radioisotope question

In this case, the isotope produced commercially is the metastable one (Tc-99m). However, given the dotpoint you can also go on to describe how transuranic commercial isotopes are produced, which might provide you a bit of flexibility on which you choose to know about. You can also use Co-60...

    Help with clarification?

Yeah that would help with the business side of things especially, but you can obtain that level with just a bachelor's in engineering or combined with commerce as well. I suppose that the project management side of the combined program is roughly 1.5 years worth of courses in total (can't...

Production of Materials HSC questions by topic

You can also use the Creelman textbooks which have assorted questions and answers from HSC past papers by topic. There is also some other book (A5 sized I remember) which does that similarly however I have forgotten the name of it. EDIT: It's Cambridge Checkpoints. They are similar to Creelman...

    Building new PC

It will save about $100 to $200 ? That's not a major worry. Would rather to take the option which will lead to longer life. Yeah that's why I'm hesitant with it. Will cost another $300 to $400 and I think I can already obtain good cooling without it (I'm not building some ultimate gaming...

    Building new PC

That is pretty much a 2 second job for like $100 and I'll do that later. Primarily development, but will be used for some gaming from time to time. The degree of gaming will be moderate to high end. Probably not going to hit the really high end games though any time soon.

    Building new PC

Will watch them later on. I can do all that later on. Blu rays and CDs are the least of my worries at this point. How much more of a difference in comparison will it make? I've used a mercury cooled laptop before (don't ask me why but the person who did that mod knew what they were doing)...

    Building new PC

So I've been looking to build a new PC which hopefully can satisfy a few of my key requirements. Basically, I need a desktop PC that can run through these personal requirements I have: - Durable to last me at least (bare minimum) 5 years to make it worthwhile my money spent. Hopefully I can...

Explain why voltage transformations are related to conservation of energy

I'm assuming this is the thread you are talking about: http://community.boredofstudies.org/264/motors-generators/43973/voltage-transformations.html In that thread there wasn't really much of a direct answer anywhere any way.

Explain why voltage transformations are related to conservation of energy

E = Pt Now here we refer to the energy input being as a function of power and time. For voltage transformations, we assume that the transformation is instantaneous here. P = VI So power input and power output are equal. P_1 = P_2 V_1I_1 \ = \ V_2I_2 ____________ Now the question...

    Help with clarification?

What uni is this and what program (please link it to me)? Project Management does sound helpful, however I am not too sure of what it entitles in its entirety as a degree. So I would rather answer whether or not this satisfies or aids you in getting the role you want specifically after I...

    'Exciting' cars for under $20k

Good choice imo. I remember seeing a whole bunch of Golf's at government auctions too (on an interesting note there are heaps of government sold RX8's too on the streets from these auctions) so you can get a good look at the market available there too.

    Help! MATHS CONFUSION

On this note, the reason why this happens is because when your ATAR is calculated they take only your most recent attempt at a set of units. If you do MX2, then your 2U mark doesn't exist anymore for your ATAR calculation because when you do MX2 it is counted as your most recent attempt.

    Help with clarification?

Disregard those other posts about Mechatronics. In terms of what you want to do, your best bet is doing Engineering/Commerce. Then pick the major in Engineering which you prefer. That pretty much is the best method to the role you want. Industrial Engineering meanwhile can come from a number...

Why is it so freakin expensive to live on campus!?

Actually I agree with this when you have the long lines at Central. Either way, bus ride is most likely longer regardless. With my travel, it is pretty much divided up into approximately three half hour blocks (half hour drive, car warm up, finding parking, walk to station, etc, half hour to 45...
