    RMIT or QUT for Engineering-urgent!!

Which option is cheaper and more convenient? Base your option around that. To be honest, going to Monash or UMelb is a great option. If you go to Queensland, try UQ rather than QUT as UQ is a lot more recognised and well known about nationally and internationally (and it is noticed as a...

Driving Test at Lidocmbe Failed twice

What are you on about it is realistic. You should be driving like that all the time. If other road users try to lash out stay calm. However, don't be the person who starts braking on an empty motorway or drives at around 60 kph in the left lane when entering the motorway and makes it unsafe...

How hard is Engineering compared to HSC

Well university is a completely different ballgame and can't be compared to HSC. How can a study over the course of roughly 14 months be compared to 2 blocks of 4 months of study? University is a lot more fast paced. Back in HSC it was easy to make comprehensive notes and revise everything...

How difficult is to trasnfer to 92 ATAR cut off course?

You'll want to have good results from Macq as you'll need to be competitive if there are many people who want to transfer. In saying this there is no "magic number" as an average (or WAM) which is required to get in, so I encourage you to try your best and see how you go.

    Electrical Engineering / Computer Science

Not necessarily called "majors". They are just electives. At the end of the day, you graduate as an EE. Your thesis will help in obtaining a role in a specific industry (and your thesis is usually related to your electives) however you can still get jobs in many parts of EE. In terms of...

would you stop buying hard copies of books and download them off the net?

Brand new book smell is worth the big hit to your wallet. (Well it depends on the book but if I am investing in a book as my goto source for something in particular for years down in the future then yes I will buy it most likely.)

Re: Double degree or single degree + honors? Generally your skill set as an EE might be transferable to some certain CS roles, or possibly Software Eng or Comp Eng instead. However if you want a purely CS job which requires a certain field in honours, you would want to do a CS honours...
