    uni v apprenticeship

Yeah I would say so. You don't have to go to uni, if you decide during the year that it's not what you want to do. But the option will be there.

To drink, or not to drink?

Haha you're thinking about it the wrong way. Food should be served over 60 degrees, but alcohol boils at 70ish. So what you would do is cook everything up, let it cool to just below 70, then stir in the alcohol. It would still be hot, but also alcoholic.

To drink, or not to drink?

Yeah of course, pretty much everything cooked with alcohol becomes non-alcoholic. I'm just saying it's possible to retain the alcohol if you so desire.

    uni v apprenticeship

Yep. You apply to UAC this year, and if you defer then your place in that course is reserved for you to start in 2012. It means that uni is always there as a backup.

To drink, or not to drink?

It had half a cup of brandy in it. If it didn't reach 70ish degrees (the temp alcohol boils off at), you most certainly could get drunk off it.

    uni v apprenticeship

What you could do- 1. Apply to uni 2. Defer uni 3. Take a year off, earn some money 4. After the year, decide whether you want to go on to uni or do an apprenticeship That way, you earn some money and also have more time to decide what you want to do.

    Animorphs or Goosebumps?

Animorphs. They had one of the books in the reading box in my prac class and I read it at lunchtime. It's still good, much more complex than goosebumps. The kids in my class prefer goosebumps, though. Silly kids.

To drink, or not to drink?

To drink, or not to drink?

See I'm lazy enough as it is. I really can't afford to drink too often or I'll just wallow in my own laziness.

To drink, or not to drink?

Haha I was drinking every night last week, to stop me coughing and get to sleep, but not since I got prescribed the good stuff. Alcohol is too high in calories to have every night.

It makes social situations more fun. Jokes are funnier, you laugh more, dancing is easier. The buzz is very pleasant.

Minor alert more like. Eventually you may learn the pleasure of a lovely glass of wine with dinner, or sangria with tapas, or a cocktail on a summer afternoon. Oh the joys of alcohol.
