    hi friends, does the UniMelb still adopt one of the most traditional medical curricula in Australia? i.e. very little to no PBL, huge emphasis on the basic sciences, clear distinction between the pre-clinical/clinical years...etc? (so they don't touch a stethoscope till 4th year or so?...)...

    Nah, absolutely nothing. I emailed the Uni and the staff was unwilling to disclose anything about the annual intake....not to mention the sub-quota for different categories... Are you currently studying at Monash? If so, could you estimate the numbers? Is the class size very large?
