    The real CONFIRMED mc answers

but they knew that IF the cathode rays were particles, they would be charged since they were deflected in a magnetic field?

    Band 6 cut off??

a friend eh ;) lol... don't u think at at phys, we were always being told that the paddle wheel confirmed the debate???!?!

    The real CONFIRMED mc answers

well ur right, but i think this question is annoying. hear me out.. from what my teacher KEPT saying to me, the paddle wheel experiment CONFIRMED that cathode rays were particles, since they have momentum, and waves cannot have momentum. Thus, this proves that cathode rays are NOT...

    Question 15 - POLL

what school do u go to btw? (just curious)

    Question 15 - POLL

defiantly? lol umm i said b) only because since its p-type doping, there is an 'acceptor' level just above the valence band in which the electrons jump into, leaving HOLES in the valence band. thus, the electrons do not actually conduct in the conduction band.

    CONFIRMED mc answers!

yeah, k but didn't the magnets in the cathode ray tube already show that it was a charged particle.. except the wave-supporting physicists just wouldn't give up. so then when the cathode turned the paddle wheel, it was basically a confirmation no only of the fact that cathodes r particles...

    CONFIRMED mc answers!

oh, i had no idea the top 5 at ur school wrote d. the answer must be it then

    CONFIRMED mc answers!

Question 12 is definitely a) Cathode rays can turn a paddle wheel. And i'm question 15 is b) since conduction only occurs in the valence band in silicon doped with boron - P-TYPE doping edit. alright so its no a) my bad

Job prospects after a solar/photovoltaic degree

Hi, how easy/difficult is it to get a job in Australia after graduating in solar & photovoltaic or renewable engineering. How about overseas? Thanks in advance.

WTF, what do u mean 'deserves'? Who cares what you think, whatever the BOS does, deal with it. guaranteed 61 will align to 90.

    Co-op Scholarships

Thanks for that. I'm curious as to how long you spend on BOS though, because everyone I go, you seem to be on every thread correcting people.

did u get one? i didn't.. so devos but i got my next preferences (electrical + solar/photovoltaic). Its not the same tho.
