    science/arts combined

You MIGHT have the time to study one of their 1st level studies during your 3rd or 4th year of study. However the timetable for combined degree is very tight, so it's normal that you won't be able to do everything you want.

    A question about UNSW Arts

Yes, you definitely can. Make sure you do the 2 core subjects during your 1st year. If I remember correctly, the 2 core subjects are "Management of Organizations" & "Industrial Relations".

    Untimtabled Lecture

Hello, While enrolling, I've come across to a lecture that says "untimtabled lecture stream. Attend lectures from an approved mixture of timetabled lecture streams". What does this mean? Does it mean I can attend the lectures anytime I want?? And anyone knows what "TBA" means...

    Taking Rolls in Lectures

Just wondering if the lecturer takes the roll in the following subjects: * CHEM1011 * CHEM1021 * BIOS1201 * MATH1041 For example, if I have enrolled into Time A but suddenly there's something happen and I attend the lecture on Time B instead, is that gonna matter if the lecturer is going...

    Clash!!!

When people have 2 lectures that are "permitted clash", sometimes they attend half an hour of each lecture, or one person attends this lecture, while his/her friend attends the other one :) But if 2 of your lectures clash (the RED colour on myUNSW) with each other, then yeah, basically you...

does unsw offer these undergraduate courses?

There is something similar to Nursing in UNSW. Such as Clinical Education, Public Health, Health Services Management, Health & Sport and etc. But unfortunately there isn't a course just targetted for Nursing in UNSW.

    Lectures & Tutes

It doesn't matter whether tut comes first or lecture comes second. Your 1st lecture will definitely start before your 1st tutorial because during your first week of semester there will be only lectures and no tutorial. What you learn in Week 1's lecture will be revised in your Week 2's...

    HRM and Management

I agree that International Business is a waste of time. The title seems very useful however it is totally different when you start studying it. 1st year of HRM is all about theories and history and group discussion. It is when you get to 2nd year that it is getting more interesting. I am...

    When are uni offers released?

Depending on whether you've completed Semester 2 in Uni yet. If you have NOT, you would be concentrating on Main Rounds & onwards. Just exactly like when you did your HSC last year. However if you HAVE completed Semester 2, it will be 50% of your UAI & 50% of your 1st year's result. In...

    Why Wasnt French Scaled Better

Some subjects don't have a high scale because the course is either not very relevant to most Uni degrees/courses, or that the knowledge is not compulsory in University. For example, Maths subjects (apart from General Maths) would always have a high scale because it is relevant and will be...

    B Science/B Arts

Hi hi, If you are doing the combined degree B Science/Arts, do you still have a chance to do 1 or 2 courses from other faculty like Accounting or Management during those 4 years? Or are you just stuck with Science & Arts subjects for the 4 years? If this combined degree requires me to fill...

    Optometry.....eas

Really?? Maybe it's different for Optometry then :) Sorry if I gave you the wrong advice. But coz my friend who got into UNSW could only get a max of 5 EAS for Commerce, so I thought an EAS of 5 is the max for UNSW.

    Honours? Post Grads?

Hi, Although I don't know any of the Honours students who do Science Research, I do know that Honours students can actually not go to Uni and just concentrate on their research for months. Therefore it is very difficult to find them on campus. However you could go to the Faculty and...

    Optometry.....eas

Depending on how many extra points of UAI you will get from EAS, for most cases you usually get a maximum of 5 extra UAI points. So you get an EAS of 5 UAI points, and you are applying for a Fee-Paying course for Optometry, I would suggest you need an UAI of at least 93.5 to 94. However it...

    Optometry.....eas

Go to this website: www.uac.edu.au Go into the Undergraduate section and they have a list of 2005 UAI cut-off for all degrees. Under HECS, you will probably need a UAI of at least 98 (excluding EAS). For Fee-Paying, you will need at least 97.5 (excluding EAS). There is actually a very...
