Can markers screw up your mark

+1 Markers know that they hold a huge responsibility when marking exams, and that alone should keep them active and alert. Besides, as someone has already stated, every now and then, markers are checked to make sure marks are awarded evenly. Furthermore, two markers mark each essay. So if one...

    "Pens down"

First thing I'd do is go to the canteen, then shout out answers with my friends Whoever lost more than 5 marks gets punches equivalent to every mark he/she lost, because that person has let down our school. :P Then, I would laugh about how I spent a year studying for some two hour exams.

    raw mark in hsc

Well obviously the raw mark difference between 80 and 90 scaled would be much lower than between 90 and say 97. So we cannot use a linear graph to accurately predict what raw marks would scale to 97, but we can assume it to be around 93-95%, if we consider the graph to be a logarithmic function.
