Forced myself to go to bed at 10, which is VERY early for me. Fell asleep sometime around half past, woke up at 1, fell asleep again, then got up at 6.30. I was hoping I'd have some dream about a journey that would then become my creative writing but no such luck.

Any idea how long the creative writing should be? All year my teachers kept saying it needs to be of reasonable length simply so your story can develop, then in our trials it said, "Write approx. 400 words." I also got a copy of the ETA practice paper and they all say only to do 400 words...

I used this for my trial and lost marks. Apparently it's better left just as a reference to the philosophies which inform the texts, rather than as a text itself.

Argh... I absolutely HATE motors and generators. I actually found Space pretty fascinating, but the entire of M+G has managed to fly over my head and I don't understand any of it and... *hyperventilates* ... yeah, I really fucked up my assessment for this.

If you do 4u English and 4u maths, you're still going to have to do two other 2u subjects, because you need to be doing four different subjects in year 12. Which means 12 units. Which means ARGH TOO MUCH WORK!

I have more work for ext 1 than for ANY other subject... which is stupid because it's only one unit. I prefer ext 2 because it *is* a project of our own interest... If you hate a part of it, you chuck it out! Easy as!

Heh. Couldn't agree more. Did anyone else find that half the bloody stuff she said contradicted what the lecture guy said? I was just pissed off that I essentially gave that school $40 towards their NEXT swimming pool or something.

9.5/10, as did most of my class. I think as long as we knew what we were going on about our teacher gave us the marks simply to avoid disappointment. Kinda cheapens the whole idea of getting great marks though.
