Modern - the way i see it, modern is more relevant, as it relates history back to today, whereas ancient is more content based i think.

Well i dont go there or anything, in fact im only in year 11, but i got an information book for ND at a careers market, and it says that the UAI is taken into consideration, but it isn't the sole entry requirement. From my view they go on references and personality and things like that.

Re: New english syllabus for 2009 hsc (New AOS - Belonging) It shouldn't be too bad, We've been told our texts already: Pride and Prejudice, Birthday Poems, Hamlet, Strictly Ballroom, and Letters to someone which goes with Pride and Prejudice. Its going to be a lot of work :(

So what subjects are people dropping? I can't decide, its either business studies, food tech or chemistry.

i like food tech, cause the works easy and we get to eat in class!

were doing that area to, our book is Sister Kate by Jean Bedford and im thinking of using Indo Dreaming by Neil Grant, only cause its heaps easy and i like it lol.

My teacher just let us watch a few videos, and gave us a research task to be presened in an oral presentation/essay. THe task is heaps cool, but we have to do the essay this week. but we got to use the new smartboards so that was kool!

Im still making up my mind whether or not i made the right choice, the bio teacher is kinda angry at me, cause i did well in science last year, but i dont really need bio, and i didnt really wanna do two sciences. Is business studies better than bio (in your opinion) or not? Which scales better...

our school timetable only accommodates up to 13 units, the rest has to be done at TAFE or outside school!

Mine was pretty bad, i turned up late to all my classes and ended up getting the bad seats. And it was sooooo hot! First thing i did after i received my timetable was go and change out of biology and into business studies, i still dont know if it was the right choice or not, i got to choose from...
