You should all come to Goulburn library its relatively empty, and theres some books there :) oo and a neat play area! I've only been there once though.. lol

Re: Is it really so bad to study from study guides? i love the study guides for maths - mainly because its better than our standard text books! Oh and the one for chemistry sucked though... It was way to brief. I think they're good depending on what subject they're on.

It could be one of the school created subject things, like at my school we had 'learning lessons' where we apparently were taught how to learn or something rather, and we also did the 'All my own work' thing in that period too, it was called ALLP. EDIT: If you did get put in the wrong subject...

Yeah im the same. I just can't wait for it all to be over! But it has actually motivated me, im going to spend a week in these holidays writing notes for the first topics i've done! Only three terms left of school!! ahhhh

I taught computers to one of my mums friends, and my mums friend is going to be my assessor person. Other things people did were: -any volunteer work, like at the local tourist information centre -work at the local nursing home -help at pre-school But yeah, SVDP will accept you!

We have first in every subject in every year, christian witness, principals awards, dux, all rounder, best and fairest in each sport, age champions for sport, and yeah. I got 1st place business studies and food technology (wooo beat all the girls) and consistent effort. I love bragging! lol

Someone i knew changed interstate from NSW to the ACT, but that was HSC to AST. Anyway, they just made the assessments they did weigh more than other kids to make up for the ones that were missed.

It is unfair! But my school has started introducing log books/process journal/revision as part of the assessments, so its making it more fair, maybe talk to your teachers about a revision of the assessment for future years?
