Should I get aleast one mark?

If it was 3u, you'd probably lose 1 mark, since you didn't factorise your final answer. However in 2u, you deserve your full 2 marks.

What are the accepted molar heat capacity of the following?

I don't know where you can get the molar heat of combustion theoretical values, but I suggest trying wikipedia. It's like the best thing invented on the internet... 's got everything.

    Batteries question.

The lithium ion cell. Like I said, the button shaped cell has got nothing to do with the lithium ion cell. Just google image lithium ion cell, you'll find 0 button shaped cells.

What are the accepted molar heat capacity of the following?

You mean...molar heat of combustion...? O_O What you are asking is not required, and has/will never been/be used/tested in the HSC syllabus.

    Batteries question.

Button cells are not lithium-ion cells. Button cells are completely different things, so you probably saw the wrong thing...They're silver oxide cells o.o

    Help Quadratic Function!!!

People, you are forgetting that there are two answers to the first question: the positive and the negative. You'll lose marks if you forget the blue one. Case 2: -3/1 = 3/-1 -b/a = 3/-1 b= -3, a = -1, c = -10

    What Bugs Me!!!

It's called talent, or perhaps luck. It'd be a pain to have every human born the same way with the same IQ. Read Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. If you wanna be equal or better than those who are naturally more intelligent than you, then you gotta work a lot harder than them.

    Monomers of Polymers Question..

    a) I think there are two monomers: (CH2)5COOH and H2N-(CH2)5 This is called peptide bonding, and the polymer formed is an amide. b) Don't think it works like that. All these questions are to do with peptide bonding. Again, I think there are 2 monomers. (CH2)8 - COOH and (CH2)6- NH2 c)...

    Help!! Chemical properties of radioisotope.

I think those are nuclear properties, and not chemical. Hmm, I'm not sure about those radioisotopes, since I did not do them, but chemical properties generally refer to their reactions in different environments. E.g. Technetium 99m can be carried in blood without reacting, so it can perform...

    Help Quadratic Function!!!

    1. (x-2)(x+5)=0 or -(x-2)(x+5)=0 Roots just indicates where the function cuts the x-axis. It's obvious that if the roots are 2 and -5, the equation would be (x-2)(x+5) or -(x-2)(x+5), since subbing in the value of 2 or -5 into either equation would give zero (ie. zero value of y, hence...

    Fermentation.... Help!!!

Actually, if my memory doesn't fail me, ethanol has a boiling point of ~78 degrees Celcius. But yes, the general idea is to separate the mixture.

    Post Prac-Exam Query

Seems like you haven't understood how enthalpy calculations are done properly. It's a pain explaining it over the internet, so try ask your teacher (or tutor) step-by-step how to do calculations for enthalpy change. I think I saw at least 3 errors in your working, so it's best to get some...

Urgent help needed ( prac skill question)

Um... Why? For what practical experiment do you need to do that for? Why can't you just put the substance in a beaker in a water bath, then transfer it to a measuring cylinder for volume measurements?
