I know plenty of people in the Faculty who use powerbooks. As far as I know both platforms are supported by the wireless network. So yeah if your leaning to a powerbook it will have no problems with compatabiltiy at UTS

Just brushing up on what Sana said the IT camp is critical for first years in that you form a group of friends before day one of uni. Personally my adjustment to uni was alot easier with friends already sorted out before I got there. I had time then to fully comprehend the subjects themselves...
Ive known people that are doing the degree with no previous computer experience and they are coping... The IT in the course is slightly easier than a straight IT course
Yeah its definately got a good bar- very modern, the building is on old fruit/market building i gather. All in all its an adequte building and its very close to Paddys Markets/Market City/Darling Harbour. Comes in handy when i go and see concerts at the entertainment centre :p
Bottom Line? Really doesnt matter if your at Macq, UNSW or UTS- all have very good courses. Employees look beyond the degrees to other more important areas- communication skills, grades and extra curricular activities.

Its one of those things you say when you know you'll will do alright but scared something might happen. Think back to all those 99.95-100 people who go- ohh i failed the exam etc...
But yeah- congrats on your results- they are pretty solid...
