i dont think so. most people do get to finish it, they just cant do all the questions. WIth those questions they cant do they may be required to think for a bit to figure it out. For me not finishing the exam, is physically not having read the last question when the time is over. That didnt...

in the hsc... last year to get more than 80... 50/120? conics is the best and easiest subject man... its almost all the same thing... u'll be able to answer everything up to the last part of the question which shouldnt b hard anyways. I like harder 3unit now aswell...

happens in my school aswell. But it doesnt happen with English... so its pretty slack. All the people that do non-science /maths subjects get 100 awards but never the highest uai.

if they give you: prove: x^3 + y^3 + z^3 >= 3xyz without any lead in (i know that is pretty farfetched. could we do some dodgy factorizing ie: x^3 + y^3 + z^3 - 3xyz = (x + y + z)(x^2 + y^2 + z^2 -xy - xz - zy) that would make the job alot easier.....

just have cambridge and patel... patel for harder 3u induction and complex numbers cause cambridge questions are all the same... dont bother with fitzpatrick (it has hard questions but still it was ment for victorian schools not ours really... written for victoria and done a quick changeover...

i thought so, no way they would ahve given 3rd in the state with a mark like that a mark of 98... well by your theory of first got 120 and so on that top 20... 111/120 should get 99 then it should go down rapidly and giving 95/120 ... 90/100 ??
