93 take that all you maths/science haters! i got 93 and bullshitted almost everything, hardly did essays, etc i even tied with a person who would write like 2 essays a week, and beat ppl who did ext 1 english i had a really great teacher though!!!

well, at usyd it is a 3-year course, at UNSW it is a 4-year course cause it includes 4-th year honours

ive heard UNSW is better at engineering, plus teh engineering building at usyd looked pretty old when i went on open day lol

if you do a double degree at UNSW you also gain exepmption from Pat II aswell, don't you? i was thinking of doing either Comm/Eng (majoring in catuarial and civil) or Comm/Sci (majoring in actuarial and maths) i realised comm/eng would probably be too much of a workload, and not very...

it's a new type of schoalrship introduced in 09 for the first time, and you need a minimum UAI of 98.50 At the open day someone asked the person in charge how many were given out,a nd he said 10, so it's very competitive However, like Scientia at UNSW, you can use it to do whatever degree...

the system is fair, and allows people to do the subjects they want and still gain a decent UAI in fact, i know someone who got the same UAI as me, but did not undertake mathematics, but was more a humanities/english person - so the system caters for everyone

nah, i didnt deserve 100 - no state rankings, and although 99 in MX1 and 97 in MX2 seem high, they are not very uncommon due to the moderating/aligning process basically the way scaling works is that generally ull need a lower aligned mark in chem/phys than ancient history for them to scale to...
