yeh, i think that's a great way to prove something is irrational - by contradiction with the p/q stuff well done (i would also add that p and q must be integers, q cannot = 0, and p & q have no common factors, if you wanted an even 'better' solution)

dp, no way is advanced cutoff > 100/105, i got 80/105 RAW in the trial, dont think i improved more than 7 marks, even with easier marking, and still got 92 external, 94 internal the badn 6 cutoff has to be in the 80's somewhere

i dunno alot about this, but i heard only a handful (20?) of ppl who do standard english get a Band 6 (ie aligned mark >=90) in HSC Standard English, even on the scaling report it shows like 0.1% get a band 6
