Yes, mid-year transfers would rely on your ATAR alone; you can apply mid year if you want but I don't fancy your chances. If you transfer at the end of the year having a credit average should be sufficient.

Yeah no doubt. But the normal quizzes were definitely easier than the normal exams. I find it interesting that it might be the other way round for advanced though. Perhaps they want to reward you for sticking with advanced for so long haha.

Well from my experience the quizzes and assignments were much easier than the finals in first year. But I was in the Normal stream, so it might have been different for Advanced.

That's correct. But in general the chances of getting a higher mark in the final than your quizzes is relatively slim.

If your transferring within one university then you'll more than likely be able to apply for an internal transfer sometime next semester; all universities would be different though so make sure you do your research on their procedures and what is and is not allowed. Otherwise you'll go...

A Bachelor of Economics would allow you to take more subjects from the Business School. Other than that, not much difference.

You need to have completed 8 units for them to consider your tertiary record, otherwise they'll be considering your ATAR alone. If you're still intent on transferring, I'd suggest doing a subject in Winter School, and 5 subjects in Semester 2.

Yes. That's the idea behind Summer School, to do units to accelerate or help you catch up in your degree. You can do maximum 2 subjects in Summer, and 1 in Winter.

You could do either or. If you are familiar with mathematics from a scientific perspective applying it in economic contexts shouldn't be too difficult. But if you did a double degree you could easily fit those three majors into your program.
