    Popular Bookshops in Sydney

My favourite physical book store in all of Sydney. However I rarely buy, I merely browse and write down the details of books I like and go home and buy them online much much cheaper. Have terrible variety/range. Use this every day. I buy 99% of new books from here as they are usually...

    Mathematics Notes Survey.

all of the above. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of understanding proofs and basic underlying principals in both understanding and also remembering mathematical concepts. In high school I merely rote-learned as we were never provided with underlying proofs and what not due to time...

    Molar Heat of Combustion

When asked for heat of combustion it is assumed that heat is released so write it down as a positive value; if on the other hand the question calls for 'change in enthalpy' then write it as a negative number (as the answer could be positive or negative). It all depends on the question and context.

    The indecisive furniture thread

well it depends how big you want it; the second one is actually quite small compared to the other two (I've looked at buying one myself). If you're happy with any size, I'd go second. But if you want to go larger, go with the first one. The last one is just ugleh.

What tafe should i study HSC at?

I did 6 months of TPC at Ultimo this year. It's very big, thus there is greater diversity in the student populous, however that also means that it is difficult to get talking to the teachers like you would at a smaller campus. I say go for it.

Advice on the treatment of these dotpoints

Re: Soft drink decarbonation - couple of questions Yes, by opening a bottle of soft drink you decrease the pressure, and so more and more co2 is converted from (aq) to (g) to try and overcome this change. This explains why the gas will escape and the soft drink will become flat, which, as...

Advice on the treatment of these dotpoints

Re: Soft drink decarbonation - couple of questions sounds about right. co2 will escape, system will attempt to re-adjust by shifting left however it is no longer a closed system so equilibrium will not be re-established and thus [hydrogen ion] will decrease, subsequently increasing pH.

    Do you believe in God?

There's no err about it - if you make a claim based on NO evidence, not only is it NOT up to me to disprove it, but I can dismiss your claim due to lack of evidence.
