    I've been to UNSW open day before and got 5 cans of V free...trick is to go to the unfamiliar person, or the person who is inundated by people and they don't even notice they've given 3 cans already...and don't do each run too close together lol. BBQ's same deal...but only if they have 2+...

    I hate the attention that surrounds getting the highest mark. I prefer people mutter among themselves and never find out.

    lol, 3 months doing nothing intellectual can get boring, if you are an intellect of course. yup, good on you. Another option is to undertake self-study. I've studied an entire semester's worth of maths at home with the aid of Khan Academy and good textbooks.

    I've talked in-person to the sub-dean who is in charge of the scholars program. Basically he said that the benefits of the program are: a) it looks good on your transcript b) greater flexibility in what you get to study i.e. you have the opportunity to substitute normal subjects with research...
