Theres two scholarships.. Academic = 5k/yr, set aside for those who achieve high ATARs.. generally 95+, no application/interview required. OR. Vice Chancellor's Leadership = 10k/yr, based upon application and interview, 5 recipients out of a total of 130+ applicants.

btw, just out of curiosity.. when were you notified about the 5k/yr scholarship? I know, Riproot on these forums got a 94+ ATAR, and didn't receive notification.

Investing in a tutor can definitely be a good idea.. I, myself, went to a school with quite a dodgy teacher and the solution for me was going to a tutoring college.. not only did they help me in learning concepts but we accelerated through the course - which made school chemistry almost useless...

Not possible.. in all honesty Comm/Law at Usyd is one of the most competitive courses.. requirements are a minimum of 97 ATAR - and even with that you'd need a Distinction average.. as they weight GPA/ATAR 50:50. My only advise, if your goal is to still get into Usyd Comm/Law is to finish off...

yeah i know.. i was referring to the likely decreased UMAT requirement if you go for an internal transfer from an Adv degree.
