Could someone please clarify what the procedure for accepting offers and enrolling into courses will be? I am aware that UAC offers are released on January 16 next year and you accept these online. Is that all you need to do? Because while reading other threads, I've seen that you get mailed...

In a slightly similar case, someone in my school wrote a very creative letter to convince the english HT to let them do English Extension 2. It worked. :D

That is correct. If you are ranked first internally, you will get the highest external mark (as your school mark) even if during the year, you were scoring say in the 50s

Yep. The top rank will get the highest mark for their internal while the bottom rank will get the lowest mark for their internal.

I would say you're looking at an atar of around 75-80 right now. Just try to learn from your mistakes during trials and work hard for the externals.
