what's wrong with hp? i'm using mine right now, and am very happy with it (well, everything except the shiny screen which is a pain outdoors). a hp mini 1001TU to be exact. has the closest thing to a full-sized keyboard that i could find on a netbook (mini portable laptop) for under $1000...

is it just me or is something weird going on with the internet in that 'eora exchange' student study lounge next to CLB? i was trying to chat with someone on facebook in there and it kept screwing up, but just outside on one of the benches next to CLB, it was absolutely fine.

if i'm told to go to "the union store" to get a biology dissecting kit (:uhoh:), which store is it and where? tried the arc store at the top of the basser stairs but they either didn't have the kits or else they were doing a good job at hiding them.

^this. and also some courses offer very little flexibilty when it comes to lab classes/times, so that the only lab that doesn't directlyclash with any lectures for your other subjects, happens to be straight after one of these lectures.

haha, i get that 'reassurance' feeling too :o i ended up buying a second hand previous edition one (2nd ed) for $60, since i'm planning on majoring in biological science, so i figured i may as well have a bio textbook of some sort. it makes me sad that everyone says to avoid bios1101...

today a toilet overflowed in the bioscience building, so they (apparently) evacuated nearly everyone in that building for the majority of the day. wtf??
