Correct me if I am wrong, but can't they only send you home on mutual agreement? They tried doing that last New Years day because it was so quiet but everyone refused. We did approx ~190 which is what we planned. All express open, all mains open, two in smokeshop and two in self serve (that was...

Leave a note for your office cashier and say that you want to stop payments. That's what I did and I haven't paid a cent since.

I hope so, not much point in working both if we only get paid for one, can anybody else confirm? If I get both on holiday rates, i'll get almost $1,000 this week hehehe. Thanks public holiday supervision <3

Ah that sucks. Working without a backup is possibly the worst thing, especially if your staff are shit or incapable. I practically did all the jobs myself when I supervised, was a mass effort that killed me. We close at 10 too, same deal with our Liquor. Good luck dude.

I kinda wish we traded 24-7. I think working throughout the night/morning would be cool just as a change of scenario.

How come? I'm SCO 1500-CLOSE, when the shopping centre closes, it should become dead which is great for me, ha.

Has anybody noticed issues with The Breast Cancer Foundation items? A customer came through with 2 packs of Breast Cancer Foundation cards which returned a not found error (price was on the back so I dumped it in). Later on in the night, another customer came through with a Breast Cancer...

Is it illegal to hide your overqualification???

Even then it's not illegal, that is a civil contract, ie a non-legal rule.

Haha that's funny. I wonder if that will attract negative publicity or just be seen as "excellent" by the customers.

Can you elaborate a little more on the first one?

But this doesn't really explain how a random shift is added when my manager never added it at all?

A chick I know has the same issue. I believe she was told 1 shift every month (may be more though).

Yes! Next weeks and the week after is completely blank. Only this weeks is there. Also, online rosters are so fucking dodgy, I don't think I can use them any more. It says that I'm rostered on yet there is NO record of me in People Planner or on the grids for the day. This happened last Monday...

Some guy threatened my life tonight at work :( He passed a full green bag of stolen shit over the glass window to his mate, I said the police would be notified and he goes "yeah then I'll cut your head off". Lolk

In Victoria the supervision rate is grade 4, so that's what you should be getting. Make sure you check to see if they're giving you the extra rate, a colleague of mine did Nightfill Captain for a few months and they didn't pay him a cent extra.

Ahh I would probably take that as a rejection. They were probably just trying to word it nicely. Also, it's not just Woolworths that does it, you'd be lucky to hear from any organisation if unsuccessful.

Yeah after about $10/$15 it goes on a returns card or exchange only.

This is because our write off value is WAY too high. Basically what happens now is, anything that is damaged or "damaged to repair" gets put out the back and the managers write them off. Stuff that can be repaired will be done by the managers (and will be reduced to clear on a special stand)...
