So on Saturdy, this is why some credit cards would decline, because the transaction was above the offline floor limit? The customer that was particularly annoyed spent a bit over $150 and she was paying by AMEX, we got "Bank Unavailable", same message as gift cards. That simply means it exceeded...

Yep, the "Borrow funds" button is just to record why the till has been opened. It gives it a little more of a reason as to why it was opened, instead of "Float in/out", "phone change" and "pick up". Also, the screen is orange when rebooting a POS now, that's new too :P

This was the worst, most stressful day I've had with the company in so long. EFT was down from 2.30pm and is still down right now. It's in fall-back mode, so all CHQ/SAV customers were required to sign (including a delayed "processing" time), and all credit purchases over like $40 decided to...

Phones with SIM cards should have a control number?

The ID check is *only* for SIM cards, not mobile phones. The government cares only about the details of the person using the mobile number & service, not the phone. Phones that do not have a SIM card, you do not do an ID check. Phones that DO have a SIM card, you MUST do an ID check. An easy...

@Jolyon - Congrats! How did it go? If you're talking about sim cards, this is a legislative requirement imposed in regards to counter terrorism and such. Have you ever watched those American shows that say something along the lines of "It can't be traced because it's pre-paid?", that was...

Heya. No point in going in store and speaking to the store manager as the stores have no involvement with the recruitment process until HR gives them a list of candiates that have passed the group interview. HR does the initial recruitment and the group interview, after that, you will have an...

Yeah I know that, all stored have them (and so did we), but more are/becoming installed. A major aspect of Phoenix is to greatly increase RF reception and I guess for cordless reception too.

Totally agree for those same reasons. These are being installed around the store for Project Phoenix I assume.

Oh if SSA = office clerk, then I can weigh in here too. One of the younger office clerks in my store (17) has been getting underpaid at normal wage. She was following it up so I'm not sure how that went.

Perhaps just store it as a note on your phone or something? If you have an ancient phone, save it as a draft message :P

I was apart of the SDA fora year and a half but I quit because they're useless and money sucking tards. I didn't even bother telling the SDA, I just walked up to my head office cashier and said "Cut off payment to the SDA please, thanks". lol - Almost eight dollars a week for what? nothing.

Perfect. Even if they did fit you, if 'you' don't feel comfortable in it, just say so. They can't force you to wear something you're not 'comfortable' in. Also, it's not even on the preferred dress policy so I doubt they can even make you wear it at all. I've never worn any of them, ever.

There is one way around it. Put on more weight than the T-shirts go in size.

Tell them "fuck up, other states have had these laws for years, so get over yourself". I hate people sometimes.

It's not your fault. Online rosters are an official rostering service provided to employees. This is the equilivant to the in-store roster not telling you that you had a shift. If the online roster doesn't say it, it's not your fault. Speak to yoru CSM, if nothing changes, just go higher up...
